We’re thrilled to be hosting a few lead-up events to the zinefest.
- Brooklyn Public Library (BPL) – Central Branch, Grand Army Plaza – “Comics & Zines for Everybody!” Workshop on March 14th, from 2:00pm-4:00pm. This event is hosted by Jan Descartes & Elvis B., and is free & all ages. The BPL Comicon will be happening from 10-4pm, so come check that out, too.
2. Ye Olde Pre-Zinefest Reading at Bluestockings Bookstore – Saturday, 3/28 – 7pm – For the past 8 years, we’ve had a magical zine reading the night before FZF. It’s pretty great. Come by & hang!
3. Stonybrook University, Long Island – Monday, April 6th – 7pm-10pm – Queer Zines Workshop with Elvis B., held at the campus LGBTQ Center. Open to the public!
