2020 Zinefest Postponed

We so appreciate your support and enthusiasm, and are heartbroken to share the news that we’ll be postponing the zinefest to a later date. We love the zinefest so much, and look forward to a future gathering.

We reached out to tablers for feedback – and thank you so much to everyone who shared their thoughts! There was a sense of concern about large group settings, especially by immuno-compromised folks and those who care for children or live with older adults. Also, as you are probably aware, many schools, including Barnard College, have now canceled all on-site classes/events through the end of March. We’ll be in touch about ways to showcase individual zinesters on social media & online. Everyone puts a lot of work into the event, and we would like to help share out the zine magic.

Finally, we’d like to acknowledge community resilience – especially those facing the challenges of compromised immune systems, mental health issues, ageism, and racism during this time. For those facing job instability, you have our support.

Thank you to all again for your zine-y energy, and we look forward to sharing the zinefest postponement date soon.

With warmth & appreciation,
